  • Sunday November 8th

    Hello DestinyMaker's,

    Ok I am over Hurricane Ida. Well maybe more then other way around as Hurricane system though to our west is reaching South Florida with gale force winds. We are currently having winds 25-30 mph with gusts over 40. I lost out on 4 hours of tennis because of it at a time when money can't be lost. Such is the struggle for someone who has put his life on the line and poured every penny into our cause. That's right my life's savings have gone into destinymaker. If I am unable to work, I am unable to eat. Thats why the barter between Matt and I has worked out so well for me. I am training Matt in fitness. Matt owns Power Smoothie. We trade my training him for food. Thank goodness for this deal because there have been days with no money nor food and I've gone there and ate like a king. Also the deal covers Nyle. Matt by the way started with me @ 287 pounds and now less then 3 months later is down to 245 pounds. We are both proud of the work and effort put in. Folks you just have to burn calories and the weight will come off. Matt is living truth to that.

    Sunday morning coffee. Can it get any better. Yes it could. Watching someone share a cup with me. That would be best. To wake up on a Sunday with nothing to do but read the paper and enjoy another persons company. I miss Sunday mornings for all it's possibilities. This Sunday no different. I was up early. I felt a slight pull near my groin. (don't get fresh) The right side is really tight. I need to be careful as I do not want to tear anything near there. My morning hours were canceled again due to the wind.

    I biked over and got Nyle his favorite Sunday food. Nova, Whitefish, Bagels. Normally we have that for lunch on Sundays but we will for dinner tonight. I also stopped at Publix to pay for Nyle's meds. After my errands it was time to head home and watch some football. Wasn't to much to enjoy as both the Dolphins and the Eagles lost.

    Nyle came over around 6. We played tennis though the wind really made it tough. After tennis we ate dinner together. We had a good talk about things current in his life. Try to catch something early by communicating now.
