Saturday November 7th
Hello DestinyMaker's,
I can't believe how windy South Florida is from Hurricane Ida. The system hundreds of miles to our west is causing havoc. Not just with my tennis lessons but other wise as well. Biking in this is really tough. Well only when the wind is in front. this tropical system is unusual but not unheard of. Soon in years to come because the Earth is getting warmer I think storms in January will one day happen. In the meantime....
I was in gym early/ At opening bell so to speak. I would be in the gym earlier but they don't open it until 6am. I walked 1.5 miles, indoor cycling 1 hour, ran 8 miles. Yesterday's soreness lessened somewhat. My legs just feel tired from all the usage. My weight is good at 165. I feel strong and pronounced myself dully healed from being thrown from my bike when it was hit by a car.
I was able to get in some tennis early on. But by noon it was so windy it was impossible to play. Just when work is going so well I have to lose hours to a freak weather system. After the morning lessons I went to lunch. Alone! I am really suffering inner turmoil the last few days. I normally handle my loneliness much better but with holidays coming up I am feeling somewhat lost. I almost feel like it;s becoming personal as if there is something wrong with me. Is there?
Spoke with Nyle and he is well. He will be here tomorrow and I am looking forward to every moment with my son. He mentioned tennis and I said if the conditions are playable we will. How did I get so lucky to have a son who loves his Dad. Someone mentioned we act/look more like brothers/friends then parent/child.
Working on destinymaker through facebook has been rewarding. The messages I receive are so heart warming that they fuel my desire to continue my efforts when there seems no way I possibly can. I have gone days with out food to offer you (the world) my efforts in raising awareness about epilepsy. The destinymaker website still attracts many hits but I haven't been able to update info there. I need help with my website. I am desperate!!!!!
